Our school participated with a group of third-year language students in the Erasmus exchange programme with the Colegiul Național Gheorghe Vrănceanu Institute in Bacau, Romania.
This group mobility programme involves selected students from both schools staying in each other's countries for a week with host families and participating in group activities at both schools.
The Romanian school came to Modena from 24 to 28 March 2025 and our school travelled to Bacau from 12 to 17 May 2025, accompanied by teachers Prof. Notaristefano Daniela and Prof. Cavrini Silvia.
The pupils discussed the topic of sustainability with the Romanian students in mixed groups.
Several contributions from external experts in both schools then allowed the pupils to explore the topic in greater depth, in addition to field trips in both countries, all with the aim of building a common awareness, which was the primary objective of our project.
Our Institute remains strongly committed to Erasmus projects because they offer numerous benefits for the students who participate, not only academically but also personally and professionally.
First and foremost, they allow students to experience studying abroad, improving their language skills and deepening their knowledge of new cultures.
Participants develop greater open-mindedness, adaptability and problem-solving skills, qualities that are highly valued in the world of work. In addition, Erasmus promotes the creation of an international network of contacts, which can be useful both professionally and personally. The experience also promotes independence and personal growth, bringing out new interests and life goals.
Ultimately, Erasmus represents a unique opportunity for growth and enrichment and is part of the guidance programme that allows students to become aware of their skills and make informed choices about their educational and professional future.
